Status in brief [rowing, etc]
May. 30th, 2022 02:13 pmThe last 3 days have been a whirlwind. We set out for the Pittsford Regatta shortly after noon on Friday, so Friday and Saturday were a rowing whirlwind. Fun, but busy with lots of people time. On Sunday, S and I had some local adventures in Albany, and then this morning I went kayaking with a friend all morning on the Hudson.
I have my summer research students starting up tomorrow, and Wednesday is our regional Bike to Work Day, so this week is looking pretty hectic, too. Oh, and then Saturday is National Learn to Row Day, so there's that, too.
It is good to have a break from the computer, but I feel like I'm behind on updates, to say nothing of other things I'm behind on (manuscript review, manuscript-writing), so this post is kind of a placeholder in the hopes I find some breathing room to write more about the recent adventures.
Things never seem to be boring around here, that's for sure.
