May. 2nd, 2022 07:05 pmI. On Sunday we took Big Mama, the mega bike trailer, out for a thorough shakedown ride. S was at the helm, to give me a chance to recover from Saturday's adventure.
She behaved wonderfully. You can't quite see it in this photo, but there are 4 cinderblocks loaded up on there, along with the half wine barrel-style planter:
II. We were treated to a wonderful sunrise on the river this morning.
I didn't get a photo of the rainbow, but I did manage a photo of everyone looking at the pair of bald eagles (two lumps in a tree to the left):
It was kind of like the river was trying to make up for the inauspicious symbols of last Monday.
