Please allow me to briefly brag about something extremely silly

Most Sundays, I play a game of Scrabble over zoom with annikusrex and another friend, S. These games have been a real lifeline for us all. In this morning's game, I managed to double-bingo (play 2 7-letter words), including playing the word CONGAING (dancing the conga).

*does a little happy dance*

Meal Prep Sunday [food]

S wanted to go along to the grocery co-op today, so we did that this morning before Scrabble, instead of me launching into my usual Sunday morning routine of pancakes or equivalent.

Instead, I have attempted to make pancake-muffin bread: I took my typical pancake recipe and poured it into two baking dishes. Haven't tasted it yet so we'll see how edible the outcome is.

At the grocery co-op, the asparagus looked irresistible, so it has been combined with some onions and tired mushrooms from the fridge and turned into a quiche.

Also some Fern cake, because why not.

And the broccoli and cauliflower in the fridge are on their way to becoming a big batch of broccoli-chickpea burrito filling.

I still have a lot of grading left to do.
