Got to get out of this slump [rowing]
Jun. 7th, 2018 09:14 amI made it on the water this morning, first time in about two weeks, ever since the Gold Rush Regatta.
I still feel like there's something about the ergonomics of the Vespoli that make it difficult for me to engage some of my core muscles correctly, and that's making it extra hard to work towards some postural goals. So I need to think more about how to work on strengthening those postural muscles off the water.
Craftsbury puts the matter bluntly, but that's good.
I started to feel like I was making some headway in terms of strength earlier on at Berkeley, but I've slipped back down the hill. It's a bit hard to articulate, but I'd like to find more joy in the struggle.
