scrottie so often says, I am being boring these days. What that means is a lot of things are carrying on as usual, with no specific interesting updates to note.
Sometimes that's okay, eh?
With respect to the minutiae: I'm on the train, headed to Denver for the annual Entomology meeting. Working on my talk and frantically applying for jobs at the last minute. Every time I assemble a talk, I find myself creating brand-new elaborate illustrations in Illustrator. Fun, but time-consuming.
At least I can get work done on the train and can get up and walk around and see interesting sights out the window, unlike on airplanes.
I expect I'll be offline for most of the trip, especially crossing Nevada and Utah, and going through the mountains and tunnels in Colorado.
