People-tired, and, dreams
Jan. 9th, 2017 05:03 amI'm unsurprisingly people-tired, after an intense 4-day conference. Talks on the first two days weren't great, but the last two days were better.
I wound up taking myself out to a small restaurant called Green Goddess last night, which was delicious. In case no one has told you this already, New Orleans cuisine isn't especially vegetarian-friendly. That has made me glad, all over again, to be staying in a place with a (poorly stocked) kitchen.

Anyway, last night, I had a dream that I was on a large bike-touring trip with a group of friends, and one person was assigned the job of hiding in the hills above our route to shout out Monty Python quotes, especially ones that we hadn't heard in a while, because those ones made for the most hilarious experience while riding.
Today my plan is to drive along the Louisiana coast and then up to College Station to visit Texas friends for a day.
