Thoughts, disorganized

-The lovely cat fountain came with a despicable quantity of packing peanuts. I am tempted to ship the box of packing peanuts back to the seller. Sigma-Aldrich, a major scientific chemical supplier, just started a program where you can ship their styrofoam cooler boxes straight back to them.

-I need to write a letter to the farmer who made the Jolly Roger's picnic basket, to request another one.

-I need to work on those two manuscript reviews I agreed to complete.

-I need to figure out how to move things forward with respect to analyzing the lipid contents in the cricket hemolymph samples. This is holding us up in terms of moving the circadian project forward.

-I'll be going to hang out with the famdam at Lake Tahoe this upcoming weekend. I need to bring along sea shanties and lyrics, plus the ant quilt, plus maybe some work? Time to write a packing list. Maybe some good beer to share with my brother. Maybe a birthday present for my five-year-old nephew? Naah. Both sets of grandparents will be there, so the last thing he needs is more stuff. Oh, I know. I should finish this little "ghost cricket" art project sitting on my desk. Ooo, I should bring along some entomology tools!

-I should also put additional thought into pirate costume preparations for the end of the month, heh heh heh...
