Regatta Time

Yesterday was an eventful day at the thirteenth annual Desert Sprints Regatta. I can't remember now just how long it has been that I have been working as the regatta announcer, but it's somewhere around 4-6 years. It's not the first job I would have picked, but at the same time, I know it fills a need nicely. So it goes.

There are a couple of vivid memories and points from the regatta that I want to note for my own sake.
