A cold front blew in Thursday evening, carrying in rainclouds, too. Due to my forgetfulness last Saturday, I had to go in to the lab for most of the day today (and will have to go in tomorrow, too), so to brave the rain I put on this, underneath my crew jacket and crew pants. The space-age wardrobe of the future is here!
You can also observe the new helmet - a Bern. It makes me feel like a Lego figurine, but is quite comfortable, and I'm tempted to get the winter helmet liner. I love the visor on it, too. Eventually, it will be covered in reflective material, but for now I've just put two big eyes on the back, for tiger protection.
I've been feeling quite blerghy this week. The boss-man says it's pollen (ragweed, perhaps), but it could just as easily be mold. I know it's allergies because I feel blerghy but also buzzed. It's annoying, because I'd like to be doing more erging, but I just don't feel that great.
