To Do List
Oct. 28th, 2011 10:41 amI suspect that I am too good at inventing projects for myself.
Weekend to do list:
-Figure out a good 60-80 mile route for a weekend ride with K
-Work on Top Secret Surprise Gift project (you will find out about this when it's finished in about a week and a half)
-Farmer's market - eggs and veggies
-Expedition to see if R&R Nursery really exists and sells plants (10 miles outside of town)
-Budget in some knitting time
-Trip to Bryan Public Library to check out books and see if they have more info on the history of the golf course across the street from my house*
-Make some snacks for long bike rides/etc.
Edited to add:
-Work on transferring BVC bike route maps to Bikely: export/import gpx files, trace out pdf routes. [Or is bikely a lost cause? Seems like a better way to catalogue routes and link up with outside parties, but I haven't played with Gmap-pedometer routes much]
-Track down relevant city meetings to attend in Bryan.
Uhh, yeah. It feels like fall, here! The sky is cloudy, and temperatures dropped to somewhere in the 40's last night. The cool weather and clouds help my mood tremendously. I was afraid that this place would be as oppressively sunny as AZ, but no!
*Last night I learned that the golf course is the site of a former pesticide plant. Naturally, I would like to know what they manufactured and the environmental persistence of the byproducts. I believe the plant closed down in the 60's or 70's. Time to look up more info on how to test my water supply for stuff.
