Alrighty then

Well, looks like we got up a few minutes before we needed to, so we're waiting for Guzy. While waiting, I tried to dial in to voice-post and received an error message. So...maybe no voice posts during this brevet. For the record, this one is a 300k, along the Pinal Pioneer Parkway down to Tucson, then across northern Tucson over to Saguaro National Park, the back again to Casa Grande. We've acquired a new rider, so things should be fun. I'm also looking forward to seeing what it's like to do this ride a second time, one year later...

We made it!

Yay, we made it! We finished at exactly 9 pm, making our total time exactly 15 hours, despite the fact that we actually started a little later than that. There were plenty of adventures along the way, including the point where scrottie's front wheel went over enough bumps that all of the spokes loosened up (it's radially laced). I think we had a solid ride, overall. Now we are tired, and I'm really looking forward to taking a shower, drinking some tea, and going to bed.
