Yargle Dargle Bargle Puh

I am trying to work on writing the introduction and discussion for Diss Chap 1. There are so many ideas that need to get compiled into nice, tidy, clear, coherent paragraphs. They aren't there yet. So I feel incoherent and lost.

In other news, occasionally I find myself deeply wishing I had a small Persian rug in the middle of my room. My parents have two, I believe, from my aunt and uncle from the time when they lived in Pakistan. It would be nice to occasionally be able to sit on the floor, comfortably, which just isn't possible with a hardwood floor. Otherwise, I'm quite happy to have hardwood floors; wall-to-wall carpeting just doesn't make sense in Arizona.

But in other other news, working at home is awesome. Quiet, so I can focus. I can eat when I get hungry, and make tea when I get thirsty or cold. It's especially nice because scrottie made lemon curd this morning, and I made scones, so I get to have scones with my tea.

On that note, time to run around for a bit, then hopefully I'll settle back in and get more of these ideas straightened out. I hope I hope I hope.
