There it goes.

I had hoped that 2010 would hold fewer nasty surprises than 2009, during which my iPod broke, my headphones broke, my camera broke, my computer was stolen, and my replacement camera broke.

I have come to find out that the handcrafted sign I hung in front of our house has most likely been stolen, for D saw it while she was house-sitting and I failed to see it yesterday when I was expecting to do so.

There are a lot of reasons to be hopeful about 2010. I deeply wish I could have more faith in humanity.
