So many adventures to report from the weekend: spontaneous dinner party on Friday night (yum and fun!), slept through the alarm on Saturday but still got up in time for a ride up and around South Mountain (70 miles for our little group, whew!), basically went straight to ceramics to trim some pieces (all 9 of them; I've been busy), then home for more cooking/eating, then to an alleycat (!), then slept like the dead.
Sunday was quieter: puttered around the yard a bit and played with the chickens, went over to Gold Bar Espresso and graded papers for a while (still working on those, ugh), went to a TBAG meeting, them home for more paper-grading. Went to bed early, then woke up and had a wonderful row this morning--the moon was HUGE over the bridges, and K and I had a nice chance to talk about plans for the rest of this month.
Ahh, another wonderful weekend. I just got my new Brooks Saddle (B-17 women's) on Thursday and popped it on my bike right away, but that plus some less-than-perfect bike shorts have left my posterior in sorry shape. I'm looking forward to the day when it's broken in enough, and can already tell that when the time comes it will be pretty nice to sit upon.
