The crux of the matter

The first week of being back to school has been a bit of a jolt. Suddenly, the campus is populated by half-dressed blonde girls wearing sorority tee-shirts. Even more suddenly, my time is no longer my own, as meetings get scheduled and classes are planned out.

What time I had to sit and contemplate is gone, replaced by frenzied plans.

All of which is to say, it isn't going to get any easier to work on writing my proposal.
