Lymph node update
Aug. 1st, 2007 07:41 amWell, that was a miserable evening. I do believe I'll be staying home today. I did a wee bit of reading on lymph nodes, which can be found here, in case you've ever wondered about what they do and how they work.

My lymph node swelling has gotten more interesting because it's currently lopsided, as is my cold: there's a swollen node underneath the right side of my chin, and two more swollen ones on the right side of my throat. There's only one slightly swollen lymph node on the left side of my throat. Quite strange. My throat is also only sore on the right-hand side--the left side feels fine.
This is clearly indicative of the bubonic plague, or rabies, or some other dread disease (although I don't feel like I have a fever). Sometimes it's kind of annoying to know too much about one's physiology. Oh well. If you need me, I'll be in bed.
