What did I do today, you ask?
May. 19th, 2007 07:32 pmRowers' backs always look super hard-core, wouldn't you agree? That's me in four seat, rowing around the lake twice for the Dam-to-Dam Regatta. It was pretty low-key and fun, although I now have Crew Stigmata--a blister turned into an open wound in the palm of my left hand. It's oozing a bit. I also picked up about 6 other blisters, including two of the weird, gross variety that have white bits floating around inside of the blister (I think they're bits of skin that worked loose and didn't have anywhere else to go). Yum, blisters. That's what I get for sculling for a while and then jumping in a sweep boat on a warm morning.
J came to spectate and take pictures, such as the one above, which was quite nice. I like having fans!
Subsequently, I did boring things like buy groceries and tend my ants. I was going to go hang out with Ant-Bike Boy and his friends, but I'm too tired and need to bake cupcakes for tomorrow's Afternoon Refreshments. It won't do to fail to provide delicious baked goods.
