Okay now I am tired.
Aug. 26th, 2006 11:54 amThis morning, I rowed a half-marathon. On a rowing machine. That's 13.1 miles, or 21,097 meters, all without going anywhere. Last September, I did a full marathon in 3:32, so my goal was to go faster than 1:46 for the half, and I did just that--I finished in 1:34:12.4. I'm feeling pretty good about that at the moment, although maybe I'm just giddy because I'm tired. Whew. I'm training for another full marathon on September 23, and my goal is to beat last year's time. From the looks of it, I might be able to do so. I think I'l be doing a 30,000-meter piece next week, but I won't be doing it at such an intense pace.
