Since I'm just getting around to uploading and posting photos, I think I'm going to just summarize this one. I've been on a cake-baking bender recently. Two of the recent cakes are pictured below, along with a dish that will probably get its own entry in a day or so, Peanut-Topped Greens. Mmm where'd you get the recipe for the peanut topped greens?

It came from The Healthy Cuisine of India, by Bharti Kirchner. The book has a whole lot of wonderful vegetarian dishes. Many of the recipes call for somewhat hard-to-find spices, but if you end up wanting to cook a lot of Indian food, they're worth finding and buying in modest quantities.

I'll probably post up the full recipe for that particular dish tomorrow.
