Story for my father

Yesterday, while running, I caught a falling leaf and made a wish.

Catch a falling leaf

Thank you, dear daughter,

For those who might appreciate a bit more context, when Rebecca and her siblings were children, we would ride bicycles through Interlaken Park to church on Sunday. October and November, when the leaves were falling, were special times: we would attempt to catch a falling leaf in the bicycle baskets as we rode. I hold these times in fond memory, as I hope that my children do.

Again, thank you: it blesses me to hear that the tradition still lives!

That's really neat! There's a special sort of magic to a tradition like that, and I don't doubt that it would help the wish along.

Come to think of it, the leaves are falling up here, too. I wonder if I can catch one.
