The demons compelled me to [rowing]

It's kind of hard to sleep on this, the night before the 5th travel plan is to be implemented. So far I haven't gotten any new surprise cancellation messages from 'Murican. Southwest did send me a special email message about the next 2 legs of my travels, mostly to say, "YES we are still an airline with plans and planes and we're pretty sure we've unwedged ourselves." Time will tell.

Anyway, that meant the brain weasels decided to get to work on one final message to the rowing club members, in these last days of my presidency. This came out of a handful of conversations with individual people. I'm always nervous about how these kinds of messages will be received and interpreted, but I have to trust that the current awesome and amazing group of people who are part of the rowing club will read and understand. Besides, I'm a lame duck now. But lame ducks can be in a powerful position to speak the truth where it's needed. I don't wish anyone any ill will; I just want to row, and be sure that rowing opportunities persist.
