Storage Forage Borage
Jun. 21st, 2012 02:03 pmIt has been decided - on Saturday,
scrottie and I will work on Cleaning Rampage I, a deep clean of the kitchen that will include the filling of small cracks with caulk, the filling of some larger cracks with expandable foam insulation business, and the filling of other cracks on top of that with steel wool.
Right before I woke up this morning, I felt something crawling on me. I picked it up and flung it onto the floor, so there's no way of telling exactly what it was. I suspect it was a kissing bug. Ah well.
Part of Cleaning Rampage I is going to involve downsizing the cardboard boxes I've been hoarding since moving out here. When I moved into this house, I didn't know how long I'd be staying, so it kind of made sense to just keep the boxes in case I needed them again shortly. Plus it was a real pain to get the boxes. The only problem is that insects love to make nice little homes in cardboard. So, on top of needing to figure out some sort of shelving solution, I think I'm going to wind up getting some of the plastic storage boxes that
bluepapercup recommended a while back. Something like this/. Another item for the List of Things to Acquire.
Yep. Life is pretty exciting these days.
