Chivalry Poll Update
Oct. 3rd, 2005 12:51 pmI just wanted to report on the results of the chivalry poll--it appears that participants were pretty evenly split--3 people said yes, chivalry is dead. 4 people said no, it isn't. 4 people said that it depends. And nobody voted for soup.
I guess that means that we're all pretty confused about the state of chivalry in our world today, which doesn't really clarify things for me personally (i.e. how does one distinguish between courtesy and chivalry, and if chivalry is actually dead, what replaces it or what should replace it?).
But it *is* clear that nobody has confused chivalry with soup. Thank goodness.

Saw that coming
