I truly cannot believe we're in a place where a shutdown is a better option but the CR is horrific.

Republicans decided to weaponize the budgeting process some time back, anyway. I agree with the author of the boosted post, that if people want any hope of any sort of due process when it comes to government spending (and government function in general!), it has to start with hamstringing the illegal activity coming from the White House.
