rebeccmeisterI managed to behave myself and got an overdue review turned in this morning, which meant I could give myself permission to play tourist for the afternoon before the start of this conference.
For my tourist activity, I decided to check out (unsurprisingly) The Maritime Museum of San Diego.
It was awesome.
I took approximately 4 billion photos of everything, and went out for the short cruise around San Diego Harbor on the Pilot. It was great to get to see so much more of the harbor, because almost all of my previous trips to San Diego have been centered around activities on Mission Beach.
In any case, I definitely recommend it.
After that, it was wonderful to get to see lots of familiar faces at the first part of the conference, although uneven masking at the conference is making me rather uneasy.
